Hello all, Through membership of this Forum, we are looking to gain a better results from going local rather than regional.
To this end we are seeking active and non-active members to represent the views of local residents of Deal and Walmer who are 50 years plus.
Our forum management committee members sit on various statutory and volunteer committees to give guidance to making of policies which concern Seniors local and nationally, review green papers and review the health and well being of members and non members.
Want to get involved? Membership is FREE and you are kept up to date on our activities with a bi-annual newsletter; could be more but limited by editorial members.
We are constituted and have an AGM to discuss future development, vote on management committee and of course a Running buffet, a General Meeting once a year, meetings every 6 to 8 weeks, support CILLA, members to CASE Kent, and seek funding from various outlets, most recently the PCT.
